This weekend, after doing some mudding and getting it absolutely everywhere, we decided to scrap the carpet and put down some fake wood panel stuff. This is us starting to remove the remainder of the carpet:
The second type linoleum isn't as cool as the first. There apparently used to be a wall along the line between the two different types of linoleum. After scraping the ceiling and pulling up the carpet, the location of the old wall was very apparent. Interesting. So there used to be a room here, that was removed and now we are putting it back.
Mudding.
We also decided to remove the baseboard heater. It didn't work and was just in the way. We never use the baseboard heaters anyway since they are expensive. I love the baby blue paint underneath.
